Short seminar on Med cooperation policies organised by the INTERACT Project INTERMED. The main focus will be the opportunity given to the environmental issues by the new territorial cooperation programmes and the LIFE+ programme. The Mediterranean basin has been one of the cradles for the development of the modern human | society and its potential springs from the fact it is the geographical meeting point amid three continents. Nowadays, it rises once more to the attention of Politics and INTERMED is an INTERACT Project dealing with the peculiar challenges facing Mediterranean countries on their way to merge their civilisations into a new model for a future sustainable development. |

Input on the Visit to Morocco 25th November 2006
Morocco is one of the Third Countries that are of much interest for the Region of Murcia and Spain in general, due to historical and political reasons: in the past, the present and the future. Also for all Europe. INTERMED Seminar & training in Morocco (13th June 2007 Tanger) On the 13th – 15th June 2007, a seminar entitled “The Territorial Cooperation between the European Union and the Kingdom of Morocco The European Instrument of Neighbourhood and Partnership: Opportunities for the Moroccan Partners” was held in Tanger (Morocco) with the aim of introducing the project’s training sessions on territorial cooperation and some of the key issues on ENPI European Neighbourhood Policy Instrument.
